This Grade 1, Certified Organic, wet-hulled selection was sourced from the Aceh region of Sumatra. These coffee cherries were de-pulped, fermented overnight and washed before being sent to the processing mill partially dried via a process called wet-hulling. This process was a process devised in Sumatra where the rainy, humid conditions make drying green coffee a challenge. Here, parchment is removed much earlier than in the more standard washed process and since the green seed within is still soft and pliable, additional care is needed to prevent damage.

This cup is particularly rich and smooth.
